mem0irHow it works
mem0ir / how it works

How it works Every step, every rule.

Until $MEM0IR launches, credits are bought with SOL, and 50% of every payment is burned inside the payment itself: sent to Solana's incinerator, which destroys it. Once $MEM0IR is live, credits are bought with $MEM0IR only, and 50% of every payment burns the same way. Anyone can check every burn from the chain. Here is every step, every rule and every number.

01From a purchase to a burn

1
Someone buys credits with SOL.

Credits pay for your agent, the helper that answers from your memories and reads your files into them. Until $MEM0IR launches, a pack costs its SOL value: 0.1, 0.4 or 1.5 SOL.

2
One payment burns and pays.

The checkout builds one transaction, signed once by the buyer: it sends 50% of the SOL to Solana's incinerator, where the network destroys it, sends 50% to the team wallet, and carries a memo naming the order. The page checks the exact bytes before the wallet opens. See the checkout →

3
The credits land.

When the payment lands on Solana, mem0ir checks it burned and paid in full, then adds the credits to the account of the wallet that paid. A payment that didn't burn its share doesn't count.

4
Anyone checks.

The receipts read every payment into the team wallet from Solana and check that each one sent its share to the incinerator in the same transaction. Nothing comes from mem0ir's own records. See the receipts →

5
Then $MEM0IR launches.

From then on, credits are bought with $MEM0IR only, at its live price: each payment burns 50% of the buyer's own $MEM0IR and sends 50% to the team. The SOL payments from before stay on the receipts.

02What a payment may do, and never

may
  • Send 50% of the payment to Solana's incinerator, which destroys it
  • Send 50% to the team wallet
  • Carry the order memo
  • Set a small compute budget and priority fee
never
  • Need any signature but yours
  • Arrive signed in advance
  • Move any SOL but the pack's price and the network fee
  • Touch any other account or call any other program
  • Approve a delegate or hand over an authority

The same check runs on the server before it hands out a payment and in your browser before your wallet opens. If either finds anything else, your wallet isn't asked.

03Every payment names its order

mem0ir:order:ord_7kQ2xV9mR4tY8pL1

The memo ties the payment to the order it pays for, and a read-only reference key on the burn transfer lets the payment be found by that key alone. Payments to the team without an order memo aren't credit payments, and the receipts list them apart.

05What is real today

  • Live: the SOL checkout, until $MEM0IR launches: one signer, two plain SOL transfers (half to Solana's incinerator, half to the team wallet) and the memo. It was dry-run on mainnet before it opened.
  • Built and tested on mainnet, in simulation: the $MEM0IR checkout, on live pump.fun coins both on the bonding curve and after graduating to PumpSwap: one signer, a burn, a transfer and the memo (446 bytes, about 18,500 compute units). Nothing was sent.
  • Built: the receipts, which read every credit payment from Solana and check its burn.
  • Built: the memory app: wallet sign-in (a signed message, nothing moved), saving and finding memories in six categories, guest mode, every memory's history (Replay), and credits that top up once a payment lands.
  • Live: your agent, on Claude, which is what credits pay for. It answers questions from your memories and reads text, PDFs and ChatGPT exports into them. Each job is priced before it runs, and refunded if it fails.
  • Not done yet: $MEM0IR itself (it hasn't launched) and the team's $MEM0IR account, connecting ChatGPT, Claude and Cursor, and the memory map and capsules.

06Before you trust it

Can the team skip the burn?

No. The burn is inside the payment you sign, so it happens with the payment or not at all. A payment that burns less than its share doesn't earn credits, and the receipts mark it, naming the transaction.

What does the team do with its half?

It's the team's: it pays for your agent, the servers and the work on mem0ir. The team can hold it or sell it, and every move it makes is public on Solana.

Why SOL before launch?

Because $MEM0IR doesn't exist yet. Burning SOL keeps the rule that 50% of every payment is destroyed. Once $MEM0IR is live, the burn is in $MEM0IR.

Why does the price follow the market?

So a pack costs the same in SOL however the coin moves. The amount is set when you buy, and your wallet shows exactly what it is before you approve.

Does burning raise the price?

It reduces supply. It promises nothing about price. Nothing here is financial advice.

What if a payment fails?

Then nothing burns and nothing is paid: it's one transaction. No credits are added until a payment lands and checks out.

07Risks, plainly

  • The team's half is the team's to spend or sell.
  • Credits live in mem0ir: they can't be moved to another wallet or sold, and they depend on mem0ir keeping running.
  • Your agent runs on Claude. If Claude can't answer, the credits for that job come back.
  • Coins can go to zero. Nothing here is financial advice.
